“First Friday Mass and Holy Hour for Reparation”
After every First Friday 7 pm Mass, the pro-life group offers a “Holy Hour” for Reparation and Healing for 40 years of legalized abortion in the United States. We pray a Rosary, Intercessory Prayers, and the Litany to the Precious Blood of Jesus.
Please join us in the Healing and Reparation Holy Hour after Mass in front of the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue on the left side of the Church.
“Berwyn Heights Clinic on Saturday”
The following day, every first Saturday, the pro-life group goes to the clinic in Berwyn Heights to pray from approx. 9am to 11am in the morning. We will first attend 8 am Mass at St. Mary’s of the Assumption in Upper Marlboro or at St. Jerome’s Church in Hyattsville.

Prayer to End Abortion
Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death
by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

Our Pro Life Group is responsible for helping our Pastor to raise awareness of the importance of respecting life in all phases. We are very busy in January with the March for Life and activities in our church that tie in with the March. These activities have included concerts, masses, dinners, prayer and adoration, as well as hosting out of town guests that arrive for the March. We also hold baby showers, collect money for our annual Baby Bottle Campaign, and hold bake sales that support our prolife ministry. Some of the organizations we help are Birthright, The Gabriel Project, and Priests for Life. Please consider joining our group to further the cause of human life, from conception to the natural end of life. You can contact email@example.com for more details.
